Launch of new Adequate Procedures Programme
Tomorrow, the 31st October BGP Global Services in collaboration with the Milestone Group launch their Adequate Procedures Programme at the International Bar Conference being held in Dubai.
Alan Cammidge will present details of this unique service being offered to all organisations that have an interest in this subject. The programme will seek to address company’s response to section 7 of the UK Bribery Act which creates an offence of failure to prevent bribery.
This programme is not only of use to UK companies, but also to foreign companies doing business in the UK, as well as those in other jurisdictions and countries who want to ensure that they have processes in place to prevent their commission of any offence, albeit often inadvertently.
More information can be found on the Adequate Procedures Programme page of the BGP website.
BGP director Wilf Pickles said “BGP in partnership with Milestone have developed a programme that provides a cost effective and realistic tool to address the potential issues under s.7 of the Bribery Act. Its versatility and ease of use make it both a realistic and viable option for any organisation committed to anti bribery and corruption management.”
