Transparency International’s comments on FIFA

Today Transparency International, the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption has given its view on the perceived crisis engulfing FIFA.

They say that if FIFA wants to show that it is serious about tackling the accusations, fighting corruption and restoring the trust of the fans, then it should postpone the 1 June presidential elections until a full and proper investigation has taken place.

It also makes a number of suggestions as to how FIFA should go forward in order to rebuild trust in their organisation.
