SportBase

SportBase is a new community based initiative that works in partnership with local communities enabling and empowering individuals to improve their lives following periods of unrest, war or natural disaster.

SportBase aims to develop community sports based projects and initiatives. These have proved successful in bringing together communities and providing young people with a channel to focus their energy in both a positive and rewarding way.

This ground breaking sports based programme is delivered through a regular presence in, and commitment to, environments where often children may be more used to seeing a firearm than a football. Its aim is to reach out and assist damaged communities in regaining their pride and sense of community, allowing all sides to develop and pull together to provide a safer environment for all.

Specifically involved in this project are Zinzan Brooke and Paul Elliott.
