Travel warning

The following is an edited version of a worldwide travel warning sent out by the US State Department. Although it is provided primarily for the information of US citizens and companies, it is clear that the advice applies to all, and to any ‘western companies’.

The dark side of business travel

A new study, ‘The dark side of business travel: A media comments analysis’, by academics at the University of Surrey and Lund University, was published on the 6th March, and analyses first hand responses on the impacts that frequent business travel can have on individuals.

Kuwait National and Liberation Days

The Kuwait National and Liberation day holidays begin this Thursday, the 23rd February. However, the main holiday activities will be on Saturday and Sunday. Festive celebrations, large crowds, and heavy traffic congestion are expected in downtown areas.
